About The Position

The Studio Assistant supports multiple functions across the Creative Services team—from production and studio operations through post-production and final media delivery. This role blends hands-on studio support with digital and technical innovation, using light coding, data analysis, and automation to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and support scalable creative production. The Studio Assistant works closely with creative, production, and operational partners to maintain an efficient studio environment while elevating both creative output and process performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in photography, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a creative studio, production, or creative operations environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Basic to intermediate experience using coding, scripting, or formulas to automate workflows or manage data (e.g., spreadsheets, scripts, or similar tools).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality creative and operational standards.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience editing lifestyle or product photography for commercial or brand use.
  • Familiarity with studio lighting, set design, and photography equipment.
  • Experience using coding or scripting languages/tools (e.g., JavaScript, Python, spreadsheet scripting, or similar) to improve workflows or automate tasks.
  • Experience with digital asset management (DAM) systems, inventory systems, or production tracking tools.
  • Strong interest in process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency within creative teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and retouch lifestyle photography to meet brand and creative standards.
  • Support ongoing creative workstreams, including templates, image manipulation, and photoshopping.
  • Prepare and deliver final media assets in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
  • Support studio production through asset check-in, prop tracking, and equipment inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate records of studio assets and materials to support production readiness and efficiency.
  • Assist with production setup, breakdown, and coordination as needed.
  • Maintain organized studio spaces, storage areas, and workflows to support efficient creative production.
  • Assist with lighting and set improvements to enhance image quality, consistency, and speed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve studio layouts and operational processes.
  • Use coding and scripting (e.g., spreadsheets, scripts, or lightweight tools) to automate repetitive tasks and improve creative and studio workflows.
  • Develop data-driven solutions to enhance asset tracking, production reporting, and process visibility.
  • Identify inefficiencies in current studio and creative processes and implement scalable improvements.
  • Support innovation initiatives by testing, refining, and documenting tools, templates, and automated solutions.
  • Partner with photographers, designers, producers, and creative leadership to meet project timelines and operational goals.
  • Support multiple creative and production initiatives simultaneously, adapting to shifting priorities.
