Truist has an exciting opportunity for a results-driven Assistant Corporate Tax Director to play a meaningful role on our Corporate Tax Team. This role will report to the Director of Federal Tax Planning and Controversy and will focus primarily on the review, analysis, and risk assessment of complex tax credit transactions, as well as other significant federal income tax planning, advisory, and transactional matters. The successful candidate will work closely with internal business, legal, finance/accounting, risk, and external tax advisors to identify and address tax issues, mitigate tax risk, support M&A and restructuring activity, and help ensure that material tax positions are appropriately analyzed, documented, communicated, and implemented.
