About The Position

The Assistant Coordinator is responsible for providing an array of supports to the Lifesharing individual and their family. They are responsible for the care of the individuals supported through Lifesharing, ensuring that the unique needs of each person are met.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clear criminal record and child abuse check in accordance with state requirements
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to scan, copy, print, email, create files, save documents, manage outlook calendar, upload forms, type summary of appointment into computer system, and other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and escorting individuals to doctors' appointments
  • Supporting during bloodwork, medical tests and procedures
  • Maintaining individual records
  • Assisting with transportation

  • Assisting in emergency situations
