Assistant Cook
About The Position
We are looking for someone to join our team as an Assistant cook! The position would be for the hours of 5:30 am - 1:30 pm. This would be a part-time position, with the opportunity for full-time if interested in cross-training with hours of 6 am-2:30 pm & 5:30 am-1:30 pm. People who work at Jenkins Living Center develop long-lasting and rewarding relationships with residents and guests as well as other co-workers. The people we serve have incredible life stories. Requirements
- 16 years of age
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
- Frequently walking, bending, climbing, and standing
- Complete all required training sessions
- Pass a background check
- Tuberculosis test upon hire
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation.
- Serve meals to residents and guests.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
