About The Position

Cadence Education is hiring an Assistant Cook for a preschool in Atlanta, Georgia. The role supports the kitchen team in providing nutritious meals and snacks and a welcoming dining experience for preschool children. The work takes place in a collaborative, fast-paced childcare environment.

The Assistant Cook helps with meal preparation and service, food and supply storage, dishwashing, and meal delivery to classrooms. Other duties may include laundry, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing toys. The position involves physical lifting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Compliance with all state-specific preschool cook regulations.
• At least one year of experience in meal planning, preparation, and service, adhering to USDA guidelines.
• Physical lifting is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education.
• Valid Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities
