The Production & Utility employee reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and is responsible for the duties so assigned by the Manager. This role involves assisting in all areas of food production, serving, and cleanup within the Food and Nutrition department. The position requires regular, on-time, and in-person attendance. The employee will interact with co-workers, administration, scholars, parents, and the community in positive, supportive, and cooperative ways. Occasional cashiering duties during lunch may also be part of the role. The Grand Rapids Public Schools (GRPS) mission is to ensure that all scholars are educated, self-directed, and productive members of society.
