About The Position

Bridgepoint Consulting, an Addison Group Company, is seeking experienced Assistant Controllers to join their growing Denver team. This role supports clients with a variety of interim and project-based accounting needs. Requirements

5–8 years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experience
Recent hands-on experience with routine accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash management
Monthly closing procedures, monthly and quarterly financial reporting
Small to mid-sized company environment with the ability to multi-task and wear several hats
Preparing and/or reviewing monthly account reconciliations
Demonstrating a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, experience researching technical GAAP issues
Ability to adapt to various client environments, and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
Bachelor’s Degree - Accounting or Finance degrees are a plus
Strong desire for consulting style work and delivering excellent client service

Nice To Haves

Revenue Recognition
Work experience with both public and private companies
Industry experience in start-ups, technology, software, SaaS & Big Four/public accounting
Hands-on experience with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, NetSuite, Great Plains or Intacct), along with moderate – advanced experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or MBA
Prior employment by a Big 4 or other nationally recognized accounting firms
