About The Position

All Care Therapies is seeking a highly operational Assistant Controller to own core accounting and financial functions. This pivotal role involves direct daily execution, including journal entries and data integrity, while mentoring a team in India to foster self-reliance. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise and operational rigor to scale the company’s financial infrastructure. This role is for a proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic, "roll-up-your-sleeves" environment and is committed to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of multi-entity financial systems, serving as a key partner to the CFO and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (particularly NetSuite) and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Clear communicator and dependable partner to the CFO and executive leadership.
  • Ability to lead and mentor teams in a remote environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in related role.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA preferred but not required.
  • Experience in healthcare, multi-entity environments, or service-based industries a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage intercompany transactions and lead the consolidation of financials for all business units and locations.
  • Ensure the integrity of "Gross-to-Net" revenue recognition, including tracking contractual allowances and payer-mix analysis.
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to produce timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Personally perform journal entries and complex reconciliations as needed to maintain high-level accuracy.
  • Manage a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast and monitor debt covenant compliance.
  • Establish and enforce robust accounting policies to mitigate risk and drive best practices across the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to Federal and State (specifically California) regulatory laws and tax requirements.
  • Provide daily oversight and training to India-based accounting operations, fostering accountability and self-reliance.
  • Standardize processes across time zones to ensure seamless 24-hour operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate external audits and tax filings; maintain documentation to support clean audit opinions.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to the CFO and leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
