About The Position

Requirements

  • You bring 5+ years of managerial and leadership experience in a senior financial role.
  • You are fully bilingual (French & English) and able to support teams and clients across Canada.
  • You have experience in a professional services environment and understand the financial drivers of consulting operations.
  • You demonstrate critical thinking, analytical depth, and proactive problem‑solving.
  • You collaborate confidently across multiple business partners and dispersed teams.
  • You translate complex financial results and concepts for non‑financial stakeholders with clarity and ease.
  • You hold a recognized accounting designation (CPA).

Nice To Haves

  • You bring knowledge of Oracle ERP (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and challenge monthly Transportation & Infrastructure financial performance, providing timely analysis and recommendations that drive corrective action.
  • Lead and actively participate in project reviews, ensuring robust financial support for EACs and guiding mitigation strategies that influence project success.
  • Partner with operational teams to identify trends, risks, and opportunities affecting current and future business performance.
  • Manage Work in Progress and Accounts Receivable, partnering with billing and collections teams and project managers to optimize DSO and support collection efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies and IFRS standards across assigned portfolios.
  • Work closely with a team of project accountants to cultivate a culture of learning, ownership, and continuous operational enhancement.
  • Develop and refine financial performance metrics and reporting tools that enable better decision‑making.
  • Standardize, streamline, and enhance business processes for improved financial efficiency.
  • Support internal and external audits and contribute to joint venture accounting and financial statement reviews.
