About The Position
Fast-track your career to Lead Superintendent: We build high-impact commercial, charter school, and K-12 educational facilities across the Upstate. We’re looking for a sharp, driven Assistant Superintendent to work directly alongside our Lead Superintendents with a clear, accelerated path to running your own job sites quickly.
Requirements
- 1–3+ years in commercial construction (Field Engineer, Foreman, or Assistant Super).
- Strong blueprint reading skills (Architectural, Structural, MEP) and basic site software knowledge (Procore or similar).
- OSHA 10/30 (or ability to obtain).
- Must live in or near the Columbia/Camden SC area.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Reliable self-starter with great communication skills and a desire to lead projects independently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day job site management, quality control, and schedule execution.
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspect daily work, and keep trades on schedule.
- Enforce OSHA standards, conduct site talks, and keep job sites secure and clean.
- Keep daily logs, track material deliveries, process RFIs, and document site progress.
- Help walk municipal building, MEP, and fire inspections.
