The Assistant Construction Manager position is a junior level position for a highly organized and motivated individual who has the initiative to grow their career on a variety of heavy civil design and construction projects. The successful candidate will work on challenging and diverse tasks in a consulting and construction management role that will require application of technical skills, project delivery, and leadership. These projects could include design and construction of water and sewer pipelines, sitework for municipal water and sewer facilities, sewer lines, infrastructure systems including treatment plants, pump stations, waste containment facilities, dams and flood control structures, and related infrastructure. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include calculations, field work, report writing, construction quality assurance activities, coordination of project tasks, and participation in team meetings. These activities include construction observation, writing daily field reports, and coordinating with the Engineer and Contractor. The ability to travel within the region with overnight stays is required.
