About The Position

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for an Assistant Concessions Manager to join our team at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. As an Assistant Concessions Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with the Concessions Manager to lead and develop the team while ensuring smooth and successful operations. Delaware North operates concessions, suites, catering, premium dining, and retail management at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers since the park opened in 2020. We manage concession stands at the 40,300-seat stadium with a menu offering classic stadium food options, and an ample supply of vegan options.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience in the food service industry, preferably with prior concessions experience
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health regulations, and safety procedures, with the ability to obtain ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications
• Proficient computer skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and point of sale systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Capacity to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business levels

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of all concessions locations under the guidance of the Concessions Manager
• Assist with coordinating team members and non-profit organization groups to ensure effective collaboration and operational efficiency
• Contribute to hiring and training new team members on company objectives, policies, and procedures to drive team performance and deliver exceptional guest service
• Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations governing alcohol, food service, sanitation, payroll, financial protocols, and employment practices
• Oversee cash handling and financial reporting, reconcile discrepancies, and support inventory management
