About The Position

Summit Properties seeks a part-time Assistant Community Manager to work 28 hours per week at White Rock Senior Living, an independent senior living community in Bow, NH, with 164 apartments. The Assistant Community Manager will support the operations of the community alongside the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. This role is responsible for the leasing and marketing of the properties in their portfolio and is typically the first point of contact for potential residents. The ideal candidate can work independently, manage time effectively, is attentive to details, and is willing to tackle challenges and solve problems.

  • High level of competency in learning new computer and technology skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Bow, NH: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Leasing and Affordable housing programs (LIHTC) experience preferred
  • Experience in MRI or other real estate software is preferred
  • Property leasing: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Affordable Housing & LIHTC: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Leasing of all apartments
  • Community tours and marketing events including hosting open houses, attending trade shows leading weekly community tours and tours by appointment
  • Communicating with all prospects and working with them through the leasing process
  • Maintaining waitlist, prospects, turnovers, etc. for your community
  • Working with Compliance to ensure affordable housing compliance
  • Process all move-ins in our property management software
  • Work with Community Manager to prepare monthly management reports
  • Develop and carry-out marketing plan with the Community Manager
  • Advertise per the marketing plan and adjust as needed
  • Plan coordinate and execute residents events including meals, classes, outings, parties, theme meals and more
  • Work with Community Manager to complete annual lease renewals and any necessary administrative work
  • Any other tasks related to the operations and objectives of the Community that the Company reasonably asks you to perform.
