About The Position

Fairmont Management Inc. is seeking an energetic, polished, and motivated Assistant Community Manager to join their team at one of Glendale’s premier mixed-use mid-rise apartment communities in the heart of downtown Glendale. This is an exciting opportunity to join the property during a transformative period, as the community is currently undergoing a major renovation, including a stunning new lobby, modernized leasing office, and upgraded fitness center. The property also features cutting-edge smart technologies throughout the building and apartment homes, creating a modern living experience for residents and an innovative environment for our team. The Assistant Community Manager will play a key role in the daily operations and success of the community, working closely with the Community Manager to oversee leasing, resident relations, operations, marketing, and administrative functions while helping deliver an exceptional living experience for residents. This position is ideal for someone who is customer service driven, organized and detail-oriented, confident in leasing and sales, professional and polished, and passionate about hospitality and community building.

Requirements

  • Leasing and customer service experience required
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 2 years of property management experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional and positive demeanor
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Appfolio preferred

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and tour prospective residents
  • Drive leasing activity through strong sales and follow-up
  • Process applications and prepare lease documents
  • Coordinate smooth move-ins and renewals
  • Build positive relationships with residents and vendors
  • Help create a warm, engaging community atmosphere
  • Assist with daily property operations
  • Maintain resident files and property records
  • Support rent collection and notices
  • Coordinate service requests and follow-up
  • Assist with budgeting and reporting
  • Support ongoing renovation coordination and resident communication
  • Partner with the Community Manager to support onsite staff
  • Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of amenities and common areas
  • Contribute to resident retention initiatives and events
