Requirements

  • Previous experience in property management, customer service, or related fields is an asset.
  • Ability to work Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with residents and team members professionally and courteously.
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (knowledge of Yardi or similar software is a plus).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, willing to take initiative and contribute to the success of the community.

Responsibilities

  • Leasing Duties:
  • Manage leasing inquiries and maintain accurate suite availability.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for property viewings, conducting engaging suite showings.
  • Facilitate effective communication to ensure prospects receive timely and accurate information.
  • Guide prospects through the application process and participate in resident selection.
  • Assist in leasing performance analysis, providing weekly/monthly trends.
  • Ability to speak to the residential tenancy act, and have an understanding of lease agreements, addendums, and tenancy guidelines.
  • Resident Engagement Support:
  • Assist in organizing resident events, programs, and activities to encourage community engagement.
  • Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and promptly.
  • Act as a point of contact for residents, addressing their needs and facilitating communication with management.
  • Administrative Assistance:
  • Maintain resident records, lease agreements, and relevant documentation.
  • Handle resident move-ins and move-outs, conducting apartment inspections.
  • Support in preparing and distributing communication materials to residents.
  • Financial and Budget Support:
  • Collaborate to manage the building's financial operations effectively.
  • Assist in monitoring rent collections, processing invoices, and maintaining financial records.
  • Contribute to preparing and monitoring the annual budget, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure seamless coordination and task execution.
  • Foster a positive team culture, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Support in providing feedback and guidance to team members.
  • Vendor and Maintenance Coordination:
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to address resident maintenance requests and building repairs promptly.
  • Assist in managing relationships with external vendors and service providers.
