Cambridge has 201 units and is located in Northridge, CA. Prime Residential’s Assistant Community Directors are the heart of our communities, dedicated to maximizing long-term performance. Assists the Community Director in leading the team, responsible for daily operational and sales tasks involving current and prospective residents. This includes resolving resident concerns, managing the move-in/out process, handling renewals, evictions, and other resident-related items.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of property management experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of employment, fair housing, and landlord/tenant laws.
  • Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and team-building skills.
  • Strong financial, marketing, and customer service expertise.
  • Valid driver's license for operating community vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Collect rent and ancillary charges
  • Manage delinquency, balance due letters, non-payment notices, and pre-legal proceedings
  • Update resident files with delinquency/collection notes
  • Coordinate with legal/risk on eviction files
  • Track and grow resident satisfaction and retention goals
  • Leasing: conduct unit tours, pre-qualify candidates, and complete move-in inspections
  • Stay current on market conditions and track leasing goals
  • Recommend incentives and train leasing associates
  • Greet and qualify prospects, present community amenities, and solicit reviews
  • Respond to inquiries with professionalism and confidence
  • Address and resolve resident concerns, escalating as necessary
  • Participate in renewal programs and propose ideas to improve resident satisfaction
  • Prepare and distribute resident communications
  • Update activity reports on notices to vacate, vacancy, leases, cancellations, transfers, and renewals
  • Establish a weekly “hot-sheet” for target units
  • Ensure error-free lease paperwork and compliance with community policies
  • Adhere to all relevant laws and company policies
