You will be the right-hand leader to the Community Director and will help oversee operations of the community in many facets, including financial management, resident relations, supplier relationships, contract execution, and more!

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of industry experience or experience in a related hospitality or customer service environment is required.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and jurisdictional laws and regulations concerning multi-family housing, evictions, Fair Housing, and associate safety is required.
  • A strong foundation in financials and the ability to accurately calculate figures such as concessions, late fees, prorated rates, etc.
  • A remarkable sense of professionalism especially when dealing with resident issues, future residents, and emergency situations.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A positive, customer-focused attitude and willingness to serve.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate’s Degree, or equivalent from a college or technical school is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead resident relations and retention programs.
  • Handle and resolve resident concerns or complaints.
  • Maintain professional resident relationships and initiate the lease renewal process.
  • Ensure residents submit rent payments on time and address delinquent balances.
  • Accurately input and collect all late fees, rental agreement amounts, concessions, etc.
  • Prepare bank deposits.
  • Assist with resident evictions in compliance with court orders and directions from Attorneys and the Regional Manager.
  • Handle and coordinate move-in and move-out details.
  • Accurately process paperwork, maintain resident files, and keep all sensitive information confidential.
  • Prepare weekly traffic, renewal, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure the office team has necessary office supplies.
  • In the absence of the Community Director, carry out supervisory responsibilities.
  • Initiate and deliver resident lease violations and late notices.
  • Share organizational policies with the team and ensure protocol is followed.
  • Notify the Community Director of any protocol not being followed.
  • Regularly walk apartment homes in preparation for move-ins to ensure the make-ready process is complete.
  • Inspect apartment homes upon resident move-out for accurate Final Account Statement preparation.
