About The Position

This role involves assisting in the coaching of a women's basketball team, with a significant portion of the work done in groups. The position requires a mix of indoor and outdoor work, with a strong emphasis on outdoor activities. There are specific physical demands including lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, and manipulation of objects. Basic math, reading, writing, sensory, and keyboard skills are necessary.

Requirements

• Basic Math skill (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Reading skills including understanding written direction.
• Writing skills in preparing and organizing documents.
• Sensory skills (i.e.; visual, hearing, and speaking).
• Keyboard skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous collegiate Basketball coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in coaching the women's basketball team.
• Working alone (30%) and in groups (60%).
• Working indoors (20%) and outdoors (80%).
• Frequent lifting of objects weighing less than 10 pounds.
• Occasional lifting of objects weighing 50 pounds or greater.
• Occasional pushing/pulling objects weighing 25 pounds or greater.
• Frequent reaching for objects at, above, and below the shoulder.
• Frequent twisting at waist, and stretching to reach objects.
• Occasional fine manipulation with hands.
• Frequent simple grasping; occasional power grasping.
