About The Position
Responsible for assisting the head coach of the Girls Basketball program. Coaching, instructing, and performing other duties assigned by the coach and or Athletic Director necessary to the development of the individuals and the team.
Requirements
- Experience in basketball skills and techniques is essential.
- Must have completed or complete a mandatory coaches certification class under the Virginia High School League.
Nice To Haves
- Previous coaching experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists the head coach with planning and teaching student athletes the rules, techniques, and skills to become a better basketball player.
- Assists and directs individual and group practice activities as assigned by the head coach.
- Monitoring student athletes during practices and competitions.
