About The Position

This is a casual, fully on-campus role, where we do our work in community with colleagues, students, and campus partners. The position involves assisting with daily coaching, organizing and implementing a successful recruiting and retention plan for the program, supervising student coaches or managers, supporting the strength and conditioning program, representing the program in accordance with department/college policies and procedures, and acting in accord with G-MAC, NCAA, and institutional rules and regulations. Other administrative duties in the athletic department may be assigned, such as support of event management for other sports when not in the traditional competitive season for the STUNT program. Employees will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by any person authorized to give instructions or assignments. All duties and responsibilities are essential functions and requirements and are subject to modification to accommodate individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

  • Must demonstrate an understanding the Walsh University Statement of Faith and a commitment to support the Mission, Vision, Values and Code of Ethical Conduct of Walsh University in accordance with Ex Corde Ecclesiae and the Catholic intellectual tradition
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Professional demeanor and ability to interact with charity towards students, staff, and faculty
  • A positive attitude is necessary
  • Work with google forms and 365 Marketing and Social Media Platforms
  • Assist a staff member and/or coach with the development of materials such as roasters and event tracking and event coordination

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred background in cheerleading, gymnastics, all-star cheer, or dance coaching or administrative
