About The Position

Join a nationally recognized Men’s Ice Hockey program with a strong history of regional and national success! Williams College is seeking an ambitious, mission-driven Assistant Coach who is ready to contribute to a culture that champions both academic and athletic competitive excellence. The Assistant Coach of Men’s Ice Hockey is a 10-month, 40-hour per week position with a salary of $38,850, and comes with a full meal plan. This role is fully benefitted and also provides full tuition remission of graduate school coursework after six months of employment. Williams College Men’s Ice Hockey has enjoyed recent success, having won the NESCAC Championship in 2026. The Ephs have enjoyed success on and off the ice, with many players earning individual accolades for their athletic and academic achievements. The team competes in the highly competitive New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), one of the country’s toughest conferences for our sport in Division III. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and collegiate competing and/or coaching experience required
• Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA and NESCAC rules
• Self-motivated with the ability to teach and recruit highly talented scholar-athletes who can succeed in a challenging academic environment
• Valid driver's license is required

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in all areas, including: Collaborating on and executing practice design, as well as individual skill development
• Assisting with developing and implementing game strategy
• Support recruiting by identifying and attracting top talent
• Travel organization, team transportation and driving
• Home game management
• Video and statistical analysis and game breakdown
• Administrative office duties, including budget management
• Other duties as assigned by head coach
