About The Position
Washington Athletics has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Coach, Men’s Tennis. This position reports to the Head Men’s Tennis Coach, within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Under the direction of the head coach, the Assistant Coach will be responsible for the leadership, management, oversight, and execution of a comprehensive collegiate athletic program serving men’s tennis student-athletes within the University of Washington’s Athletic Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of one year of coaching or playing tennis at the collegiate or professional level.

- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and according to Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations.
- Skill in working independently and following through on duties with minimal direction.
- Outstanding communication, listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills in work with student-athletes and athletic department staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
