About The Position

The Assistant Coach-Men's Lacrosse will instruct and teach athletes in the fundamentals of lacrosse, coaching technique and strategy. This role assists in the selection of team members and recruiting activities in compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules and regulations. The Assistant Coach also aids the head coach in coordinating administrative areas of program management, including scheduling of competitions and practices, travel plans, and equipment. Additionally, this position monitors the academic progress of student athletes, audits information from academic support services, and ensures compliance with conference, NCAA, and University rules and regulations. This position operates within a creative and collaborative team environment that embraces change and encourages innovation.

Requirements

• Coaching experience and extensive knowledge of the sport of men's lacrosse at the intercollegiate level.
• Extensive travel during recruiting process.

Responsibilities
