About The Position

Jenks Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Coach for the High School Girls Lacrosse program. This position will assist with all aspects of student-athlete development and performance, focusing on building a positive culture and developing quality relationships with student athletes and parents. The role involves assisting in the implementation of sound practices and skill development, effective communication with stakeholders, and collaboration with program coordinators and the Booster Club. Additionally, the assistant coach will help provide direction and evaluation of youth coaches and teams to ensure vertical alignment throughout the program.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous success in assigned coaching position.
• Extensive knowledge, skills, and ability in the strategy and technology of the sport.
• Experience interacting with student athletes, parents, and assistant coaches through deliberate positive interactions.
• Ability to serve as an effective role model for student athletes and represent Jenks Public Schools and Jenks Community Education with integrity and respect.
• Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
