About The Position
Assistant coaches for Cross Country camp are responsible for supervising and coaching children ages 14-18 during camp. Assistant Coaches are expected to provide a fun learning environment while also ensuring campers are safe. The position requires the ability to teach the fundamentals of distance running and to work well with others in a professional manner.
Requirements
- Running Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work with others
- Assist teaching the technical and knowledge of distance running
Responsibilities
- Oversee campers and ensure a safe environment while they are on Keene State's Campus
- Engage with campers in a professional manner while creating a fun and inviting environment.
- Assist teaching basic distance running skills and knowledge
- Communicating group news and plans with camp administration
- Being able to adjust to daily schedules and work with others
