About The Position
The J is hiring enthusiastic and knowledgeable Assistant Baseball Coaches for our advanced teams. Our assistant coaches will provide instruction and impart their knowledge of the game to young players ages 9-12. The J’s Baseball instructional program emphasizes skill development, self-discipline, and safety and teaches the value of good sportsmanship.
Requirements
- Experience as a coach/player is required
- Knowledge of baseball and its rules
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Must have reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children preferred
- Experience as a coach/player is preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist coach with baseball drills at practices and assistant coach in games for ages 9-12
- Help set up and tear down equipment
- Supervise children ages 9 to 12 years old
- Provides positive communication and reinforces the coaches direction
