This position is responsible for learning and performing various tasks related to CNC milling operations. The role involves following work instructions, reporting on assigned work orders, and adhering to verbal instructions from supervisors and other personnel. Key duties include learning fixture/part setups, selecting appropriate CNC programs, setting machine home locations, performing in-process inspections using measurement tools, and loading/unloading cutting tools. The operator will learn to run CNC programs, ensure conformance to requirements, and maintain standard operating procedures. Cleaning and deburring parts, using hand tools, and monitoring equipment for proper operation are also essential. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, a cooperative attitude, strong teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
