The ideal candidate is flexible, a team player, reliable, hardworking, and an outstanding representative of our brand. This is a part-time hybrid position with scheduled hours on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Mondays from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Personal/group training sessions may be scheduled outside of these hours based on member needs and trainer availability. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in customer service, sales, community engagement and events, and the health and fitness industry. A current personal or group training certification is REQUIRED, and prior training experience is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.
  • Current nationally recognized personal or group training certification (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent) REQUIRED.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, outgoing, professional, and service-oriented demeanor.
  • Demonstrates integrity, honesty, and a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable using technology, mobile applications, and computer systems.
  • Flexible availability, with the ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the fitness industry, including personal or group training, strongly preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, sales, community engagement, and the health and fitness industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating effectively with team members and gym members
  • Conducting tours and welcoming customers

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the gym
  • Managing membership and training sales
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Handling opening and closing duties
  • Managing communications via phone, email, text, and app
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and inspiring/motivating others
  • Delivering personalized one-on-one and group training sessions
  • Fostering a welcoming community atmosphere
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe training environment
  • Conducting fitness assessments and body composition scans
  • Staying connected with members and clients through regular communication
  • Managing billing and administrative tasks
  • Motivating clients and holding them accountable for reaching their fitness goals
  • Offering online coaching and providing exercise modifications for various fitness levels
