The Assistant Closing Manager works closely with the Closing Manager, providing leadership and direction within the club and driving club performance. This role specifically oversees recovery, utility, and Perishable departments (Produce, Meat, Bakery, Deli, Dairy/Freezer) as well as overnight prep to ensure all areas are clean, stocked, and ready for morning open. The manager is accountable for maintaining policies and procedures, delivering a positive service experience to members, providing Grand Opening Look Daily (GOLD) club conditions, and providing leadership and direction within the club. The Assistant Closing Manager assists in audit compliance efforts, drives collaboration with Business Partners (BPs), and oversees onboarding, certification, and training to ensure food safety and operational excellence. This role also serves as Manager on Duty (MOD) for the club as needed, taking full responsibility for club operations, team leadership, and Member engagement during assigned shifts.
