About The Position

Under the supervision and guidance of the Principal Investigator and Clinical Research Supervisor at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center (MAC) RabLab, the Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator (ACRC) will serve as a liaison between PET Program staff, researchers, other research collaborators and clinicians from the MAC, and research participants by performing entry-level duties related to the support and coordination of single- and multi-site clinical trials and observational studies in the field of neurodegenerative disease. Duties include assisting with the preparation and sharing of clinical and imaging results at multi-disciplinary clinical meetings and with participants and their families or caregivers; assisting with data visualization tasks (tables, figures, graphs) for presentations, manuscripts and grant applications; maintaining the database of imaging studies and results; triaging data requests and preparing data and protocols for collaborators and human research committees. Additional administrative tasks may be assigned as needed to help design flow sheets, data forms, and other types of source documents. The ACRC is not required to have specialized training to perform these duties and candidate will be trained on-the-job to meet the responsibilities of the position.
