The Baker Center for Children and Families (also known as Judge Baker Children's Center), promotes the best possible mental health of children and families through the integration of research, intervention, training, and policy. The Assistant Clinical Director is a member of the Manville School senior leadership team and supports the overall effectiveness of the school's clinical programming, with primary responsibility for psychological services, assessment, and clinical training. The Assistant Clinical Director provides leadership for psychology trainees, coordinates psychological testing, supports the implementation of evidence-based clinical practices in a school-based special education setting, and partners with the Clinical Director on staff development, APA internship training, and departmental initiatives. The Assistant Clinical Director also provides direct clinical services, including assessment, case management, and individual, family, and group therapy, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes. The position will also involve teaching and supervision. The successful applicant will be appointed at a Harvard Medical School rank (Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor) commensurate with experience, training, achievements and a commitment to teaching Harvard students.
