The Assistant City Attorney (Utilities/Development Services) focuses on issues concerning public utilities and franchises. They will also assist in litigated matters handled in-house (rather than by outside litigation counsel) and act as a backup for miscellaneous issues related to development services. This position is expected to start on or around July 6, 2026, subject to City Council approval of the FY2027 budget.
