About The Position

Mathnasium Learning Centers are dedicated to teaching children math in a way that fosters understanding, mastery, and a love for the subject. Our proprietary Mathnasium Method™, developed over decades of experience, has been positively impacting children's lives since 2002. We are passionate about both our students and our employees, offering Assistant Center Directors a rewarding leadership role where they can make a significant difference in the lives of K-12 students. Requirements

Passion for math and working with students (up to high school math level)
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Eagerness to learn and be trained
Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance education and sales responsibilities
Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra II
Proficiency in computer skills
All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Support the Center Director in administering student assessments and developing student learning plans
Assist with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress
Lead and coach team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
Manage students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
Mentor and support employee development by providing on-the-job training to instructional staff
Teach/tutor in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Create, plan, and execute community math events
Manage and post on various social media and business accounts
