About The Position

This role supports the Center Director in the daily operations of the center, ensuring effective client services and volunteer management. The Assistant Center Director will also serve as the Center Director in their absence, maintaining a focus on spiritual leadership and client well-being. Key responsibilities include overseeing client files, volunteer activities, record-keeping, and public relations efforts to foster community partnerships.

Requirements

  • Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a helping field, or related experience equivalent (i.e. Social Services or Healthcare Administration).
  • At least one year of experience as a volunteer in some ministry capacity and two years’ experience in a management role.
  • Exhibits skill in interpersonal communication, public speaking and problem solving.
  • Able to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship and support to volunteers.
  • Able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Center Director when they are out of the office.
  • Make Prayer an integral part of the day-to-day operation of the Center.
  • Review client files, client advocate summaries, and offer suggestions and encouragement to volunteers.
  • Oversee record-keeping and effective follow-up of clients by volunteers.
  • Handle routine business calls that don’t require Client Services Director assistance.
  • Provide peer counseling and services for clients when client advocates are not available.
  • Interact with Client Services Director to relate client or staff needs, progress of center, problems, and goal setting and implementation.
  • Oversee the follow-up and closing of positive pregnancy tests client files.
  • Oversee scheduling of volunteers when requested by Center Director.
  • Confirm the number of clients in Scheduler monthly to match statistical reporting.
  • Track Volunteer Hours for statistical purposes.
  • Maintain a working relationship with agencies, physicians, churches and organizations that refer clients or accept referrals from CLARITY.
  • Represent CLARITY to pastors, churches and organizations through meetings and speaking engagements as requested by the Sr. Client Services Director.
  • Participate and assist in fundraising activities as requested by the Sr. Client Services Director.
  • Attend regular organizational meetings of CLARITY.
