About The Position
At Spectrum Retirement Communities, we believe in living without limits, aging fearlessly, and sharing great stories. The Assistant Caregiver in Memory Care plays a vital role in this mission. This full-time position involves providing non-hands-on assistance to residents in Memory Care and/or Assisted Living, transporting residents within the community, and responding promptly and safely to resident needs and emergencies. We are looking for individuals with a compassionate spirit and a dedicated work ethic to join our team.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- All state educational requirements for the position must be met
- CPR certification
- Must be able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire, if required
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with an elderly population is preferred
- A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated
Responsibilities
- Provide non-hands-on assistance to residents in Memory Care, Assisted Living, or both
- Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
- Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner
