About The Position

The Assistant Cabin Cleaning Manager supports the Cabin Cleaning Manager in overseeing daily aircraft cabin cleaning operations to ensure aircraft are cleaned safely, efficiently, and in compliance with airline, FAA, TSA, and airport authority standards. This role assists with supervising frontline staff, coordinating schedules, maintaining operational readiness, and ensuring a high level of service quality in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive aviation environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of supervisory or lead experience, preferably in aviation, cleaning services, or operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-critical environment
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Basic proficiency with computers and operational reporting systems
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and operational excellence

This includes following safety protocols, maintaining environmental responsibility, and upholding quality standards in all tasks. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Cabin Cleaning Manager with day-to-day aircraft cabin cleaning operations
  • Supervise cabin cleaning teams to ensure timely aircraft turns and on-time departures
  • Provide on-the-floor leadership during shifts, including coaching and direction of staff
  • Assist with employee scheduling, shift assignments, and coverage adjustments
  • Support onboarding, training, and coaching of new cabin cleaning employees
  • Monitor attendance, performance, and productivity; escalate issues as needed
  • Reinforce company policies, work rules, and safety expectations
  • Serve as a liaison between cabin cleaning staff, management, airline representatives, and airport stakeholders
  • Communicate operational updates, delays, or staffing issues to leadership in real time
  • Assist with daily briefings, shift handovers, and operational reporting
  • Step in as acting manager in the absence of the Cabin Cleaning Manager
