About The Position

Assistant Buyer Help Shape the Products Customers Love Are you passionate about retail, data-driven decision making, and trend-forward products? As an Assistant Buyer, you’ll play a critical role in bringing seasonal assortments to life—supporting the buying team from strategy through execution while influencing sales and margin performance. What You’ll Do As an Assistant Buyer, you’ll support the end-to-end buying process and ensure teams have the right insights, tools, and documentation to make smart, timely merchandising decisions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and XLOOKUPs
  • Solid understanding of the retail industry, merchandising principles, and key retail metrics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and confidently
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Analyze & Report on the Business
  • Provide accurate, timely data and reporting that enables the team to analyze current business trends and take action as needed.
  • Support Seasonal Buying
  • Partner with buyers throughout the seasonal buying cycle—from planning through execution—by preparing documentation, collecting and analyzing data, and creating clear visual materials.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to gather key information and help execute merchandising decisions.
  • Create Product Catalogs
  • Develop product catalogs that support seasonal strategy for leadership product reviews and retail store alignment.
  • Order Management
  • Upload orders and assist with reconciling seasonal buys.
  • Additional Support
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the buying and merchandising teams.
