About The Position

PING, Inc., maker of PING golf equipment, is seeking an Assistant Buyer that will support Category Managers, Buyers, and Senior Buyers in executing day-to-day supply chain and purchasing activities across assigned product categories. This role is responsible for tactical execution, system administration, data analysis, and reporting that enable effective category oversight, supplier management, and inventory health. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area, relocation assistance will be provided.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Supply Chain or similar discipline; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Versed in Supply Chain Management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, collaboration and team skills with the ability to gain consensus.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and data integrity awareness.
  • Proven ability to adapt to change and manage competing priorities.
  • Self-starter with excellent written, verbal, analytical, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated experience taking conceptual or loosely defined assignments and delivering tangible, high-quality results.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, plan, and manage multiple tasks effectively in a deadline driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, TEAMS, and Power BI) with strong excel skills with the ability to apply analytics to problem solving, reporting, and operational improvement.
  • Experience working with an ERP and supply chain systems (M3, Nexus, or similar) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs M3 and Nexus system administrative and operational functions supporting the Supply Chain team, including: Purchase order creation, updates, and maintenance, part number creation and master data maintenance, inventory status updates and transactional accuracy
  • Demonstrate a strong willingness to develop as a subject matter expert (SME) of Infor M3 and Nexus, with a focus on maintaining and improving data accuracy, compliance, and execution efficiency.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver supply chain reports and ad hoc analysis to support business reviews, supplier performance discussions, inventory management, and decision making.
  • Maintain and update supplier contracts, NDAs, evaluations, sourcing documentation, MRP scripts, and related materials.
  • Interact directly with suppliers on tactical and transactional issues as directed by Category Managers, Buyers, or Senior Buyers.
  • Support sourcing and supplier onboarding activities by ensuring documentation completeness and system readiness.
  • Work closely with warehouse, receiving, and account payables to resolve any PO receipt discrepancies (inventory, accounting, etc.) or coding errors.
  • Conduct ROP inventory management of select items (non-planned) and process orders for replenishment.
