Requirements

2 years’ related experience or equivalent in Purchasing related field.
Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required to work with vendors, customers and employees.
Proficiency in MS Office suite.

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of Material Requirements planning
Ability to analyze MRP reporting and proceed accordingly.

Responsibilities

Prepare purchase order, responsible for correspondence between suppliers and departments originating requests.
International purchase order coordination
MRO commodities and supplies for assigned areas of emphasis
Respond to customer supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
Contact suppliers to schedule and expedite deliveries, to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and other issues.
Coordinate outside vendor services.
Basic understanding of Material Requirements planning
Ability to analyze MRP reporting and proceed accordingly.
Responsible for report creation and follow-up.
P.O. receiving report
Open orders report (Purchasing)
Provide support within Materials Department
Clerical entry into ERP system, production packet creation, etc.
Maintain Safety Department SDS documentation.
