About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated assistant broker to support the brokerage team with both administrative and client focused tasks. This role will help ensure smooth operations by assisting with the processing of quotes, binders, and policy issuance. This role will also require communicating with our agent and carrier partners coordinating the execution of these transactions.

Requirements

  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 2-20 insurance license or the willingness to obtain such license

Nice To Haves

  • bachelor’s degree preferred in business, finance, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Assist brokers in preparing proposals, quote, binders, and additional presentations if necessary
  • Coordinate and maintain accurate records of the above-named proposals as well as other critical documentation
  • Communicate with clients, underwriters, & third parties to gather information and follow up on requests.
