Requirements

  • Two years of college OR substitute two years of leadership experience for college
  • Minimum two years of experience in member service or retail
  • Minimum one year in leadership or supervisory experience
  • Effective and tactful communication skills; listening, written and oral
  • Ability to research numerical discrepancies
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team, ability to motivate others
  • Professional presentation and appearance
  • Ability to analyze information and form recommendations
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, dealing with all types of member issues
  • Ability to learn, maintain and pass continuing annual regulatory education requirements

  • New Account and Lending experience

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Branch Manager in leading the daily operations of the branch
  • Coaching and developing employees to support WSECU's Brand Promise
  • Documents employee performance and attendance, while holding staff accountable to meeting our Member Experience Principles and operational efficiency including compliance, policy adherence, balancing, and procedural accuracy.
  • Ensuring employees are equipped to meet member needs while observing the Credit Union's operating guidelines and Code of Conduct standards
  • Facilitates/participates in Team Blitz and Sales and Service meetings to celebrate progress and set goals. Actively recognizes and motivates team achievement.
  • Meeting established branch sales and performance results
  • Performing duties in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act
  • Demonstrates proactive listening, probing, and clarifying skills to meet staff needs and provides optimal feedback.
