Sound Credit Union is currently seeking a Assistant Branch Manager for our Graham Branch! Requirements

  • 3+ years of successful work experience as a Universal Associate/Personal Banker or equivalent position at a financial institution required.
  • Experience in opening new accounts and loans required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be bondable.
  • Employer sponsorship to secure or maintain employment authorization not available.
  • Notary and NMLS certifications are necessary for UA II level and higher and require US citizenship or permanent legal residency in order to be obtained as per WA State Law.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years experience in a management role or demonstrated experience in a leadership position preferred.

Responsibilities

  • You will coach and lead employees in the branch, maintaining a highly motivated, well-trained staff.
  • Act as the go-to person for problem solving in the absence of the Branch Manager.
  • You will build long-term relationships with members by assisting with routine financial transactions, opening new consumer accounts, and assisting them in achieving financial milestones by accepting, reviewing, and processing consumer, home equity, and business loans.
  • Engaging with team members on a day-to-day basis as the face of Sound Credit Union!
  • Active participation with coworkers and managers is an essential part of your impactful work.
