About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in leading daily branch operations and creating an exceptional customer experience. This position will help coach and develop employees, ensure operational and regulatory compliance, build customer relationships, and support the branch’s growth goals. The ideal candidate is a positive, team-oriented leader who enjoys working with people and is passionate about their community.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
2–4 years of banking, financial services, retail management, or related experience preferred.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to coach and motivate employees.
Excellent organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of banking products, services, and branch operations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Branch Manager with the daily leadership and operations of the branch.
Serve as Branch Manager in their absence.
Coach, train, and develop branch employees while promoting a positive team environment.
Provide exceptional customer service and assist with resolving complex customer needs.
Build and strengthen customer relationships through personalized service and appropriate product referrals.
Support branch goals for deposits, products, services, customer growth, and retention.
Partner with lenders and other bank departments to meet customers’ financial needs.
Participate in community events, networking, and business development activities.
Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and applicable banking regulations.
Monitor cash controls, security, balancing, and other operational requirements.
