Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to sell while building lasting relationships
- Good public relations skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Good Organizational Skills
- Basic typing and math skills
- Previous Banking and/or credit union experience
- Previous Loan experience
- Credit, criminal, employment, and education background checks are conducted on potential candidates.
- A post-offer, pre-employment drug test is also conducted.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years Prior Supervisory Experience preferred
- Bilingual skills a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with the overall efficient and effective operation of the Branch by leading the employees in a successful sales environment.
- Introduce new members in a pleasant and positive manner to credit union products and services.
- Put the member and fellow employees first, every day by exemplifying Sun East's Mission and Values in all that you do.
- Fill in for the Branch Manager in the manager's absence.
- Assist with personnel issues as well as member problems, questions and complaints.
- Interact with the manager and other departments to resolve any problems that do arise at the Branch.
- Work with the manager in training new personnel and evaluating branch personnel for annual performance reviews.
- Cross-sell, sell and up-sell all Credit Union products and services to new and existing members.
- Evaluate any request for new accounts with ChexSystems and member requests for reopening accounts.
- Complete new accounts and loan applications accurately.
- Scan all new account and existing member account files and documents accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in monitoring the Branch Scorecard and correcting errors identified.
- Answer teller questions dealing with member transactions and check holds.
- Assist with the operations of the teller line, including check encoding, and ATM settlements.
- Fill in for any branch position when necessary, including vault responsibilities, ordering cash and shipping coin.
