About The Position

This entry-level financial services position offers a clear path to management within a growing company. The role involves a paid on-the-job training program lasting 18-24 months, designed to equip individuals with the skills needed for branch management. The primary focus is on helping customers achieve their financial goals by originating new loan business, understanding customer needs, and recommending appropriate consumer loan and voluntary product solutions. Responsibilities include educating customers on lending services, assisting with the loan application process, and making payment reminder calls. The role also entails evaluating loan applications, performing risk analysis, making credit decisions, administering loan closings, and processing insurance claims. Additionally, the Assistant Branch Manager will support the Branch Manager with recruiting, training, and developing plans to meet sales goals, promote core values, and ensure an outstanding client experience. This position is 100% onsite and requires a willingness to relocate for promotion to Branch Manager, with a relocation package provided for moves over 50 miles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (ideal majors include Business, Finance, Sales or related field).
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills.
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as a team member in a fast-paced environment and successfully navigate priorities.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history and credit history.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing (based on criminal background check).
  • Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion into a Branch Manager role.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year or more of customer facing sales experience (i.e. retail sales, goal-oriented, incentive based) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Actively seek opportunities to originate new loan business by listening to customers, understanding their needs, and recommending the best consumer loan and voluntary product solutions.
  • Educate customers on consumer lending services, including how to improve credit and consolidate debt.
  • Assist customers through the loan application process.
  • Make payment reminder calls when needed.
  • Evaluate loan applications, perform risk analysis, and make credit decisions.
  • Administer loan closings and process insurance claims.
  • Assist the Branch Manager with recruiting and training.
  • Develop and implement plans to meet sales goals, promote core values, and ensure an outstanding client experience.
