About The Position

This role assists with the day-to-day supervisory and operational tasks of the branch. They provide support, guidance, and training to other team members, while embodying the culture and leading by example.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2 Years of Current Banking Experience, Including New Accounts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with 10-Key
  • Able to Quickly Learn New Software
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 1 Year of Supervisory Experience

Nice To Haves

  • Current Supervisory Experience in a Financial Setting
  • 2 Years of Current Banking Experience in Consumer Lending

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of Relationship Banker I-III duties, being able to perform each as necessary.
  • Provide ongoing training to staff regarding operations, policies, and professional development.
  • Schedule staff accordingly, being able to gauge coverage needs during high volume seasons.
  • Present monthly schedules in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist the Branch Manager by preparing and leading monthly meetings, as well as sharing information with branch staff in a timely and direct manner.
  • Complete all reports and checklists as assigned in a detailed and timely manner, including but not limited to overdraft decisioning, zero-balance, and address update reports.
  • Assist in monitoring location activity, including but not limited to number of transactions, sales volume, average traffic, etc., in relation to predefined branch and company goals.
  • Work with the Branch Manager to determine any needs derived from the information.
  • Utilize internal business partners to provide a well-rounded suite of products to customers, securing the organization as their primary bank.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in developing action plans through monitoring the branch budget and forecasts based on the strategic plans, including but not limited to branch growth goals for deposit and loan production, customer growth and retention, product and services obtainment and customer service enhancements.
  • Assist with the completion of audit procedures, ensuring compliance with federal laws and regulations, completing them in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist with managing the safety and security of the branch, conducting monthly audits to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Maintain branch supplies while evaluating and adhering to branch and company budgets.
  • Exhibits interpersonal and communication skills, providing an environment of open and authentic communication.
  • Adhere to all Legence Bank Standards, serving as an example to other team members, as well as to our customers.
  • Represent and promote the Company within the community, working with the Marketing Department and the Branch Manager in coordinating the branch’s events.
  • All other duties as assigned.
