About The Position
This position is for an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at Centennial High School Design and Innov. Academy. The role is part of the Athletics/Activities department. Requirements
- Current Resume
- CHSAA Online Coaches Test (Current Year)
- NFHS Concussion Certificate (or an in-person concussion course completion certificate)
- 1st Aid/CPR/AED Certification (Current)
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of hire
- If not a current teacher, registration for a CHSAA one-year coaching registration and/or permanent coaching registration is required upon acceptance of the vacancy.
Nice To Haves
- Previous coaching experience and/or successful participation in athletics at the high school or collegiate level
- Previous playing experience in the sport of Basketball
Responsibilities
- Assist in the coaching and development of the boys' basketball team.
- Ensure compliance with all CHSAA (Colorado High School Activities Association) regulations and district policies.
- Support the overall mission and values of Pueblo School District 60.
