About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. The Impact You’ll Make in this Role Assist shift engineers with plant operations. Perform various water chemistry tests on boilers, chilled water, cooling towers, and auxiliary equipment. Assist with boiler and chiller maintenance overhauls. General plant housekeeping. Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties. Safety is a core value at 3M. Requirements

Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
Incumbent must possess and maintain a current State of Minnesota Second Class A Engineers License
Possess a current and valid Driver’s License
Ability to work rotating shifts
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
