Requirements

High School diploma or (GED)
Ability to multi-task under limited supervision
At least 2 years of experience in compounding/blending manufacturing environment
At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment
Forklift certification
Requires attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and strong problem- solving ability
Experience operating pumps and valves
Ability to read and legibly write English
Must be able to read and interpret standard gauges and instruments
Ability to work with others

Nice To Haves

Yard Driver experience a plus

Responsibilities

Hook up production lines in the pit to correct tank per the work order
Fill out all paperwork completely and accurately
Report any spills or leaks that could cause a potential accident or effect the environment
Load/Unload bulk shipments via railcar and truck
Gauge tanks
Direct daily operations when supervisor is absent
Troubleshoot minor issues including but not limited to pumps, in-line blender, and pneumatic lines.
Analyze schedule and determine time availability to refill storage tanks.
Actively participate in continuous improvement projects
Drive projects to completion and solve problems when necessary
Blend product on Inline Blender via industrial workstation
Other duties as assigned
