About The Position

This position will serve as an assistant coach and field maintenance worker for the baseball program. Up to 19 hours per week, this part-time on-call position provides coaching assistance and upkeep and maintenance of baseball facilities as assigned by the head baseball coach.

Requirements

• Regular high school diploma or equivalent
• Perform baseball coaching activities effectively
• Operate field maintenance equipment effectively
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Rapsodo, Synergy, Trackman, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain field and baseball complex, including mowing grass, weed eating, regular maintenance of field and turf, locker rooms, batting cages, and surrounding areas
• Setup and operate baseball analytics devices such as Rapsodo, Synergy, etc.
• Operate baseball statistical program
• Perform baseball coaching activities, such as throwing batting practice and hitting fungos daily
• Operate and maintain baseball field mowers, edger, golf cart, backpack blowers, equipment, and tools
• Perform other duties as assigned
